I am your son's height. It's just an obstacle to deal with. It's a lot better than the obstacles some others have to face. It will only be a problem if he allows it to be.

The managing partner at my law firm is like 5'5" (I'm 5'4") and he's thriving. So it's really not impossible, OP. Maybe it's your attitude that's the problem, not your son's height.
