Hiking, jeep tour, walking around the town. The gorgeous landscape (red rocks) is the draw, so find a hotel with a great view.

I'm open to ideas right now. If it's in March as we would prefer (her bday) domestic, 4-5 days as I work on a school schedule. If I truly can't find the right trip, we would push it to summer.

Where would you go that's not too cold, but not hot and beachy in late March?
I'm looking for a trip for my sister's bday. We generally like national parks and outdoorsy places, but if we stick to March the weather would be difficult. Looking for other ideas before I suggest waiting a couple of months!
