I have a friend who's DD is in VYS. They don't have set teams. They will pull up players from lower teams who are the best to create a roster of 15-16 players for games. So, if you're not on the top team each week your teammates are different. Unsure about McLean, but I've never heard of them doing this. They have set team roster and only guest play when needed (too many players can't make the game, etc).

Take a serious look at VYS. You won’t regret it.
That is an interesting take. Their attrition is off the charts. Players leave in droves. Their younger girls coaches drive more players out of the club and out of the sport than any other staff in the area.
