They are applying to NCSL. The vote is Monday night, so they will know then.

The kids weren’t super strong from what I understand from my son. We will call and find out about NCSL.

Are they getting talented kids coming out for U11 boys? Would they play in NCSL or the pre ECNL league in the fall?

The invite for my son U11 came from Anthony Torgrude.

We were interested in the rising U14 team but missed the tryouts. Does anyone know who the coach would be for that team and if they will be playing in NCSL this fall? EDP games are such a long drive.

When I looked into it the tryouts were at King Abdullah school field in Herndon. Not sure if those are the regular practice fields. Its expensive to rent private fields but if they don't have a rec league, they are last in line in the County for permits.

The coaches involved with the AC Milan academy are very experienced and committed. I don’t think you will regret having your child spend time learning under them. There is a lot to gain from them that frankly a lot of other coaches won’t offer.

Agree with you. But one U11 boys for sure in the hopes for them, since we have an invite right now for our son. But if we don’t get an invite for our current team, not sure if we should take AC Milan or just take a year off. 😩. Currently my son is on the second team for a large, developed and well known team.

That may be what they aspire to, but its really hard to start a program up from scratch and even have one team per age group.

I can only find one listing of any AC Milan team in any local league, and its a U13 boys team.

I believe two teams for each age group is what they said.

Since they are just starting up, I think they are going to struggle to roster teams across age groups. Did they say what teams they had currently this spring?

Does anyone have any insight into this new travel team? Mostly interested in Boys, 11 year olds. My son is currently in another club but offers have gone out and he hasn’t gotten an offer back to his current team. Wondering if AC Milan Academy would be a solid club to help my son develop. We didn’t see a lot of strong players at AC Milan tryouts this week so feeling unsure that we should even be considering it. My son is good technically but needs a lot of development with speed and confidence.
