A friend from college didn't get married until his late 50s. I am pretty sure he banged at least 250 women, most of them hot, during his bachelor decades.

A person who makes it to 40 never married, no kids has mental issues. And workaholism is among those issues, because it stems from deep seeded insecurity. That insecurity bleeds into relationships too...

Unlikely. The one I dated is now in his fifties and still single. He is charming, handsome and very rich. He basically told me on the first date that he’d never get married because he had childhood trauma from his parents’ divorce and he enjoyed sleeping around with beautiful women. I figured if he’s been dating models for the last 20 years, why would he change for me?

For everyone else, no. They are either unable to perform out of atrophy, have weird sexual habits that would kill my desire, and/or are diseased.

Not IMO. I had a long term FWB with a heavy emphasis on the friendship - gave it another go in my thirties because we were so well-suited and compatible.

He’s over 45 now and still not even a significant girlfriend - I don’t think he’s ever dated anyone consistently/exclusively for over a year. He’s just not made for it, which is a shame because he’s so handsome, successful, stable, fun, smart etc.

He would have to put more effort into it. I had a friend who married around that time and also wasn't attractive but he really wanted to marry so he dated women who wanted to marry and spent a lot of time with them. They have no kids but are very happy and retired now.
