Please read my original post- I have tried at Whole Foods and I have seen them dump these recyclables in their trash can. I no longer take them there. Maybe a different Whole Foods might be worth a try.

Yes, please stop putting things in your recycling bin that are not accepted. People shouldn't have to pick through your bin to remove things that could damage their machinery or require someone to work to pull it out. Go on a field trip to the Recycling Center at Shady Grove and take a look at all of the stuff that they have to pull out.

Like I said in my post above- I have seen them dumping my recycle in their trash cans. That is why I posting this legit question.

that’s what we do too but I just saw a segment on ABC news that showed all of those bins of plastic bags go to poor countries where they sit in dumps or in communities and are not at all recycled. Sigh.
