This is true for any class and any level. Not many treachery’s know how to do this though. This is hard.

I agree. But then what’s the role of say math or comp science or physics teacher in TJ? Just to proctor tests and may be answer questions?

Advanced students should be challenged with advanced study material. Unfortunately, AAP mentions differentiated learning but lacks specifics on how to implement it consistently. Many AAP kids just sit bored not having challenging material to work on.

Good question. Have to ask my child. To the most part, at TJ, it is self studying. Course load is pretty high, hard courses, tests every week.

We have heard going to TJ makes college easier because it operates like a college....it is all you. I know kids who graduated from MIT in 3 years after TJ


Lazy teachers who can't be bothered to teach but expect students to teach themselves. SMH

Good question. Have to ask my child. To the most part, at TJ, it is self studying. Course load is pretty high, hard courses, tests every week.

We have heard going to TJ makes college easier because it operates like a college....it is all you. I know kids who graduated from MIT in 3 years after TJ

OK, now let's look at the mounting data on how kids actually learn best taking notes by hand in a notebook from a human being. It's 2024 and we know now that EdTech is a scam, we just don't care enough to change it.
