When we had flooring replaced, our installed brought a set of devices ranging from disks that slide on floors to small casters that he could put under furniture with one-person and he would move the furniture around as needed. If there are hallways or other rooms where the furniture can move, the installer would move the furniture around to accommodate his work.
We were told to ensure that all furniture was moveable, and that there was nothing loose on or in the furniture. So, cabinets/bookcases/buffets had to be emptied, nothing on top of tables/end tables/coffee tables.
You need to talk with your flooring installer. Different companies have different practices and requests for the home owners.
