This is a good point.
It’s possible and likely that some offers off the wait-list (WL) will be rejected. For example, a student placed on the WL might have lost interest after not making the cut the first time.
There are many possible reasons.

As a personal aside, I know of 2 families leaning towards not accepting and not sending their sons to TJ in the Fall. So, there is reason to still hope for a spot.
