The best tool is pdf24. It has free tools that can be used on the cloud or locally. It has a great user interface and tens of helpful tools. It's also open source and unrestricted.

You could just do a screen shot and save it as jpeg. You could use the snip tool to crop if needed. Assuming you’re using windows.

Imagemagick (free software) can do this. It is a command-line tool, but is very powerful and useful for this type of use case (bulk image conversion).

You need to convert using Adobe or similar software. This is not something any operating system has built in.

Thank you so much for finding this! The steps look easy enough, from the instructions.
I have a Mac so not sure if I would be able to use this?

I guess could use a computer at Staples if needed.

Hello,

I am stumped and would like some advice! This is for a collaborative family photo project.
I have been tasked with scanning photos and saving as jpg on a USB drive.

Unfortunately, I did not realize they needed to be jpg and scanned them as pdf at Staples.

When I found out they needed to be jpg, I went to FedEx. They have scanners that scan to jpg, but it is “one image per page” so the photos show up as a portion of the file with a lot of blank space. There is no option to crop the photos at FedEx.

I am not sure if the family member I am giving this to has the ability to easily crop the photos.

I am at a loss!!

Please advise if you have any ideas how/ where I can scan to jpg without needing to crop?

I appreciate your help!
