Not OP but GaTech is 33. Purdue is tied for 45 so I’d guess that one.

Yes, it is fair. Everyone should understand what “value” means. Understanding value vs cost will serve your child well for the rest of their life.

It seemed in line w others but is a little more than I thought. And cheaper one is less plus merit.

Schools have net price calculators. If you can’t afford the school that is 25K more expensive, why didn’t you tell your kid that when they were applying?

I agree with the others that it's fair to bring up the topic as a major factor to be considered. I might do it within the context of offering a $50-100 a week allowance if they go there (assuming I believed they'd use it responsibly).

Dc is torn between two schools. One is 20/25k cheaper. Can we sway them to that one as a tiebreaker? I don't want to cause resentment.
