Thankfully there are some popular multi-term Dem state governors that have proven to be solid executives and they give the Dem party a chance to get back on track in 2028 presidential election. The Dem Party on the national level hasn't performed as well as we'd like in recent years but they've been more functional than the Trump era GOP. And BTW- Hillary herself is not to blame for the 2016 election debacle or for Biden being the party's "best" option in 2020.
