Tons of companies are hiring cleared people in the tech and IT field. If you’re not sure of your clearance status, you need to get a recruiter hiring cleared positions to check your status in the system.

Under continuous evaluation, your clearance should be just fine and your new company will be able to pick it up without issue.

+1. You need to talk to HR and see what is going to happen to your clearance. Did poly come in or still pending?

It came in over a year ago. My clearance is probably inactive but can probably be activated when taking up a job that requires a clearance

I know Mantech is hiring, they had a lot of senior leaders come in in the past few months, maybe worth a look.

I forgot to mention I also had a poly done before the layoff.

Wondering? I have been laid off for the past few months. Not even sure what to say at this point. I have been studying for some certs relevant to my field but I'm unsure whether to mention this at all or just go by the work I did at my last job which I had for 5 yrs? Would they even be concerned about the job gap there? I hope to get an interview despite this.
