Nope, every third day or so until puberty worked for us. Now they are teens and shower most days.

Depends. If its the weekend and they aren't covered with dirt, they can shower in the morning

If they are dirty but hair is ok, a quick 5 min body wash.

Every day just for the heck of it?? No way. If they are home late because of basketball practice and they are sweaty, then yes, they need to shower. But otherwise, no. We aim for every few days but not on days we are out late.
