Agreed! My allergist said by the time you are feeling the effects of pollen it's much harder to correct the reaction. Being proactive with Flonase and your other regimes starts you out on better footing to deal with whatever the spring might bring.

See an allergist but in the meantime I would add saline spray rinses (my ENT recs Simply Saline) morning and night to wash out the allergens. Idk if kids can do Astepro (antihistamine spray) but I do that at night and Flonase in the morning. You can also ask your doc about the Zyrtec dosage based on weight bc how much she can take may be more than the bottle says. My sons pediatrician has us do a dose in the morning and at night during allergy season.

They are intense this year because of the rapid warm up.

My allergist reminds me to start the Flonase in February before the full-blown allergies start. And yes to Radiator eye drops. I use a neti-pot or similar to flush out the nasal cavities has greatly reduced secondary sinus infections.

I've been running air purifiers inside and wearing a mask outside starting a couple days ago and still feel like crap. Flonase and Claritin do nothingn. FML.

It sounds as if you're somewhat new to allergies, but apologies if you've heard this one - make sure you shower after being outside/before bed. You may have to wash your hair daily, which is annoying. I also find rinsing my nose with saline after being outside helpful.

Try pataday or zaditor eye drops too.

I’m in the same boat and it’s brutal. Keeps triggering clogged ears and sinus infections. Already using Allegra and Flonase.

But Flonase does take 3-4 days to really give relief.

Flonase works great for me and my child. I have prescription eye drops for my allergy eyes. Benedryl at night helps.

Make an appointment at a minute clinic. They can help find something that will work for you.

are out of control. I don't know what to do. I've tried everything. I'm not a person who usually even gets seasonal allergies and it's like I've had a giant cat sitting across my eyes for 4 days.

My DD (9) is far worse and Zyrtec and allergy nasal spray is not cutting it. Her eyes have been puffy for days and she's got this barking post-nasal-drip cough.

And before you ask, we've tested for covid and negative.

Someone give me some solutions, if only for the child.
