Nycakeacademy.com offers virtual classes. It is a fabulous store if you ever get to visit or take in person classes. www.nycakeacademy.com

Michaels used to teach classes, not certain if they still do. I took one years ago and found it helpful.

I’ve been meaning to check this out for years. OP let us know what you find out and how it goes if you take a class there!

I've gone to Fran's for supplies. They have gift boxes for cakes / cupcakes / candy, etc. They have large containers of unflavored gelatin powder. They have baking supplies. It's a great little store.

I'm interested in taking a cake decorating class to learn how to do simple piping, flowers, etc. Is there anywhere in the area that does this? I looked it up and the only think I could find was Milk Bar which doesn't look like it would teach the piping I'm looking for. Charm City Cakes also have classes but those are more fondant type cakes which is not what I want either.
