Probably. Drinking culture has changed quite a bit in my lifetime. Now we have wine moms and dads might have a couple of low % pilsners on occasion, now they're slamming 24 ounce cans of 9%'ers to 'take the edge off' and sipping wine throughout the weekend and evenings. I think there's a lot of people lying to themselves that their relationship with substances is healthy or OK.

And I've done weed and tried gummies. I'm sure there are people who just bite the gummy in half or something, but really, you're kind of useless to anyone for hours. If you need that kind of escape from your life you're better off going to the root cause.

I have three kids and don’t know any moms who smoke weed or use edibles.

I think it’s pretty common these days for parents to unwind a little with some edibles ir something. If I enjoy their company then I wouldn’t worry about it.

They are mostly fine but as I get to know them better, I realize their preferred recreation is smoking.

If I want my teens to step away from this, of course I can.

I'd rather the moms that smoke weed than the moms who foam at the mouth over wine nights.

I have kids in elementary and high school. I have a few adult friends who are constantly trying to smoke or drink like we are in college. I was never into smoking as a teenager and definitely not as a middle aged adult.

Is this normal for moms to try to get high together??

These are moms I met through my kids but our kids are not friends.
