Ive been involved in assisting families get COSAs. The decision comes from Central Office, but principals are asked for input and can make a difference if they have a strong preference, particularly the receiving principal.

There's no real deadline for COSAs. Move and then inform the school of your new address once junior year has started. Continuity is a recognized thing--one of the reasons new schools open without the oldest grades.

Didn't the deadline pass? I don't know.

Trying to figure out when we can move to a different neighborhood, without kid having to change schools. I understand that the COSA deadline is in April. If we apply in April of her sophomore year, would it automatically be granted for junior and senior years? Or do we have to wait to move until she has started her junior year?
