I’ve put them unsliced from the freezer to the air fryer. 375 for ~6 minutes.

Perfect. Slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Slice before you freeze and then toast. They come out perfectly.

Literally none of these replies is the right way to reheat a bagel so it actually tastes good lol. Do not put it in the microwave and no need to defrost. Im from NJ and just brought a bunch back in my suitcase to California - they taste just as good as when you get em if you do this:
-Freeze the bagel *whole*, not sliced unless you want a dried stale piece of bread when you toast it.

-When you're ready to eat it take it out of the freezer and let it rest for the time it takes for your oven to preheat to 350-375* depends on the size of the bagel.

-Grab any pan with a lip on the edge, place your bagel on it and then add a generous splash of water on top. Some people say boiling, I don't think this is necessary, luke warm is fine, and put it in for 15-20 minutes - again depends on the size and thickness. If you have toppings you don't want to get burned then you can try to loosely place foil on top but I just wing it.

- You should have a perfectly reheated bagel, crispy on the outside and fluffy and tender on the inside - if you cut it and it's still a little frozen in the center, place it back in for a couple minutes cut- side down.

The hard crust of a real proper bagel will keep moisture trapped in it which is why you do not want to cut and freeze it, and the water will steam it up nice and revive it's original texture.

I don’t have a toaster so I just heat up the oven to 400 and put in the bagels for 10 minutes.

Slice the bagels *before* you put them in the freezer.

Buy a good toaster that has both "frozen" and "bagel" settings.

Toast the bagel on the "frozen" setting to un-freeze. Then toast a second time using the "bagel setting. (Or toast to taste again, if needed.)

You now have warm bagel.

We only eat toasted English muffins and bagels, so we buy from Costco and immediately freeze them. Stick one in a ziploc bag in the fridge at night and it’s perfect by morning.
If we forget and wait til morning, then they defrost quickly enough. If pushed for time, it takes about 10 sec regular power in the microwave then toasted.

1 minute on the microwave defrost setting usually will thaw them. Flip halfway through.

I use my Breville oven and put them in on bagel setting, put the number I want in terms of how much toasted, press the frozen button since they are frozen, and press start.

I spread cream cheese on, then click on broil for a minute to get the cheese warm.

Set on counter to defrost (20 min). No need to defrost via microwave in which you run the risk of making it rubbery.

If your bagel tastes like freezer-burn upon defrosting then toast lightly and air-tight store in the freezer next time.

If they're sliced, just pop them in the toaster. If they're not, put them on a plate in the microwave oven with a mug of water to defrost them enough to slice in half, then toast. The water will add back in the moisture so they aren't dry.

If they are sliced, toast in toaster or toaster oven, if not, heat in microwave for 30 seconds, slice right away and put in toaster or toaster oven.

I have bagels that were fresh then frozen. How do I heat them to come closest to fresh experience? Thanks
