We enjoyed renting bikes at Moose Junction and biking along the path to Jenny Lake. It was a nice way to take in the mountains and you see/enjoy it more than in the car.

Drive down Antelope flats at dusk to see an insane amount of bison.

Hikes:
We took the boat across Jenny lake and hiked into Cascade Canyon

Hike around Leigh and String lake- beautiful but so many mosquitoes.

Tried to hike to Surprise and Amphitheater Lakes, but we went during a year of record snowfall so we hit a point where we had to turn around because the trail was still covered in snow.

Scenic Gondola ride and waffles at Corbetts Cabin

I didn't realize you could rent bikes. Is the rode to Jenny lake very hilly?

Not it's pretty flat. There was one decent hill at the beginning, but I don't remember it being too bad. I just remember it being rough for my husband because he had the trailer with our then toddler in the back..

Thank you!

Definitely the rodeo! It was such a fun experience. We also loved white water rafting- we used Jackson whitewater. If you have kids (10ish to teens), mine loved renting mountain bikes and going down the ski trails. They have courses set up.
We did horseback riding and Tetons tour through the ranch we stayed at, but enjoyed both. I think a tour is a good idea because they know where to go for the best chance of seeing a variety of animals.
There is a pizza place, Leeks, in Teton Park that we enjoyed. Good pizza and a beautiful view from the water.

If you want to really spend some money you can do a day tour into the park with Teton science school.

NP. Has anyone done a wildlife tour through Eco Tours? It sounds great but is expensive so I would love some feedback before booking.

+1 for Dave’s. Horseback riding is another great activity. I unfortunately don’t have recommendations for a tour as we did it through the ranch we were staying at. The Rodeo is a unique experience.

White water rafting with Dave’s is really fun. You can also go fishing on the snake river.

We did a BrushBuck (I think that was the name) safari wildlife tour. They are so good at spotting wildlife. The kids saw bears pronghorn, moose, etc. it was so fun.

We did a white water rafting trip from Jackson that was really fun.
We did horseback riding dinner in Tetons NP but with staying out of park not sure that is practical. There is a horse stable right kn Tetons village that might be easier.

We kayaked on Jenny Lake and did a hike around the lake. That was my favorite part of our trip to Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. The Blue Heron Lounge at the Jackson Lake Lodge has the most spectacular Grand Tetons view.

We are headed to Jackson Hole for about a week this August. Other than having our accommodations booked (3 nights in Teton Village and 3 nights in Jackson), we don't have anything planned yet. We are planning to visit Yellowstone and Grand Teton NP. Would love any recommendations on tours, hikes, other activities from those who have been to Jackson Hole and Grand Teton/Yellowstone in the summer.
