Potomac Valley Thunder also has some pretty deep rosters (12+ players is too many).

my son is a freshman and plays for DC Premier - we are in Northern Virginia

Durant is also good but they have questionable coaching and huge rosters. You'll want to be 1-8 to get any minutes.

My observations from the last few years on girl teams:

Takeover and Stars are really good at all age groups for girls (although I observed some troubling behavior from the Fairfax Stars’ 5th grade girls team coach at a recent game).

Elevate and PVT are good mid programs and only a small step behind, but as the age level goes up, the difference gets bigger.

Hurricane, PPA, Classics and Vogue are more like high rec teams.

I do not know much about the boy teams. Would love to hear people’s takes on the boy teams.

Maybe for older High School age teams but the younger (and grassroots) team players primarily live close in Maryland and some in DC and VA.

Takeover takes talent from all over the country, but what about teams like New World, DC Premier, Nova Cavaliers, Higher Level, Nova94, etc?
