Subject: Lorton Station AAP center
The principal is newish there, but he's working hard to build a school culture.
My child's teacher this year has been one of the best we've experienced ever. Will that continue in future grades? Fingers crossed!
The kids are the best part of the AAP center. My child didn't have much of a social life at the base school and was bullied, but at Lorton Station, my child's is doing fantastic on the social side of things.
Overall, we're happy and plan to do another year. We're also able to transfer into Lake Braddock for middle school, and we hope to do that instead of Key.

This is a title 1 school without an AART teacher. Not much of a school culture.

How's the Lorton Station AAP center program? Any recent feedback? Is there any benefit to sending my kids to the center vs staying at the AAP local level school?
