You’re probably right about that – hence the custom of not having cash bars if you’re not set up for handling drunken crowds and dealing with lawsuits from people who kill themselves on the way home

There is a poster in this forum who moved to Boston (Cambridge) a year or two ago. They have posted here about what cheapskates the people there are, how dirty their furniture and houses are, and how they seem to take pride in being rude to their friends, screaming at people in grocery stores, etc. - being generally mean and aggressive.

This poster has also determined that Bostonians are rude because at least one of them had a cash bar at a wedding recently.

Why is this poster like this?

I lived there and didn't notice outright rudeness. More like a sharper way about them. New England is a cold place and it chills people's hearts

I moved to Boston a year ago and am noticing something. Bostonians seem to take pride in being rude to their friends, screaming at people in grocery stores-being generally mean and aggressive.
