Congratulations! You are being offered admission to the 2024-2025 Freshman Class at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST).
This year 2,627 qualified students applied for admission to the Class of 2028 at TJHSST. Final admissions were based on the holistic review of the Student Portrait Sheet, problem-solving essay, GPA from final marks (core subjects) in 7th grade and 1st quarter marks in 8th grade, and experience factors.

Applicant Next Steps (Applicant login only) The applicant must record the decision on the Intent to Attend TJHSST Form below and provide High School information.

Parent Next Steps (Parent/Guardian login only)
Then, the Parent/Guardian must log into the system and electronically sign and save the form (page 2).

Good evening. We are pleased to let you know that final decisions for the Freshman (Class of 2028) will be released on Friday, April 12, 2024, after 6:00 p.m.
An email message will be sent to all applicants and parents once the decisions are available in the application portal. Decisions will be accessed only through the application portal and will be available to both accounts; applicant and primary parent.
Please be aware that admissions decisions will not be released prior to Friday, April 12, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. Additionally, admissions decisions will not be released by phone.
