Citation for this? I understand that there are ordinances regarding pets, but a cat and two small dogs is not at all the kind of thing that gets legislated.

You can try military by owner, you don’t have to be military to use.

Certainly most landlords mean it when they say, no pets, but it's worth reaching out and starting a conversation.

Rental market is already super tight. Adding pets + SFH is going to be tough.

Zillow, Redfin, Hot pads and Apartments.com
Google houses for rent and location.
You should find something for that price.

Budget is low for SFH, I rent my townhouse for 4.3k.

That's a lot of pets.

I've been using Zillow and am struggling to find a sfh for rent that meets our needs and will take a cat and two small dogs. Am I missing something by just looking at Zillow? Is there somewhere else to look? Do people get a real estate agent for this? We really want some space -- to not be on top of neighbors -- and that is proving to be challenging; obviously there is more farther out, but then that effects the commute to DC for work. It's feeling complicated and overwhelming.

Fortunately timing is very flexible. Budget is not bad, but not super high either (around 4k).

Should I be looking somewhere else in addition to Zillow?
