Don't do it.
Maybe consider moving next year, after the realization you are happier living closer/together.

Only if I wanted to move to that city and was OK if the relationship didn’t work out.

NO!

Don’t move states for a guy who isn’t even sure enough to propose. Come on. That’s the bare minimum. Don’t be desperate.

These situations never work out. The move puts too much pressure on the relationship.

If it’s somewhere you’d be happy living if you broke up, and you have a job, yes. If not, no.

I mean not unless you want to move there even if you break up before you move.

Otoh, sure! You’re 24 and you’re not changing companies. As long as you’re just renting, and you think the new city would be fun, go for it. But accept that you may well break up. Don’t move if you think it means you’ll probably get married.

+1 Also don't move unless you have confirmed you definitely have a job in the new location.

Well, do you want to move or not? Is the new place somewhere you would want to live? Or not?

Would you move to another state for BF's new job if there is talk to eventually marrying but no ring or definite date. Both working two year post college and you can find a role within your company in new state.

Should you move, long distance or end? You'll be leaving your family and support network. Is it worth the risk if you love the guy?
