If the orientation is just for parents, you can ask if it is possible for your child to visit the school another time. They might say no. But it’s worth a shot to ask.

This is school dependent. At DD's school, kids were invited. They got the same tour as the parents, and then went to the gym for fun and games while the adults went to the cafeteria for the presentation.

We have not. I'm sure the eventual email will give details, but April is *packed* so I was hoping an experienced parent might have some insight 😂
