+1 I usually will hang in there but just could not with this one.

My spouse is like this- has a need to finish what the start. I will give things a chance but only to a point. Many shows I quit if not enjoying some aspect. Not enough time to do everything.

I had to quit watching Feud the Swans or whatever it was called out of secondhand embarrassment for all the actors. Unbearable. No way could I finish it.

I'm a bitter ender. I was around 40 when I realized that. So I watched the entirety of the Danish series The Rain and the 2019 TV series of The War of the Worlds. Not great.

I've only done this once but it was fun: The NBC series "New Amsterdam," which started out fine and tanked in a huge way toward the end. I came in late anyway but my best friend had watched since the start. We decided to finish it together and would text all through the episodes in the last season, commenting and joking with each other. It was a hate-watch for sure, but we ended up having a good time together, virtually.

Life’s too short. It can start slow and pull me in (Ted Lasso) but it can’t go the other way around.

Constellation on Apple TV was great. Norway, not Sweden.

Life is too short to spend your time on entertainment that is not enjoyable. Just move on.

You don’t have to report back to anyone. Stopping is not a sin. Just stop.

Finishing Game of Thrones turned out to be a chore for me.

There are too many good shows to waste your time on one that doesn't suit your tastes.

Well, not if it's really terrible: I am taking a break from Blacklist on Netflix, even though the premise is interesting, because the physical violence is getting to me. I do understand about wanting to know what happens!

I am watching the Swedish series, Black Lake. It started off interesting, and I always like watching European shows because they are often more interesting than American shows: more dialogue, interesting ideas, and amazing cinematography. Plus, you get to learn about different languages and self-expression. I am half way through the season and it is getting progressively worse. All of these friends are dying in one place, and many of them are trying to move on as if nothing happened. What the heck. Maybe it’s because they are Swedish I only joke because part of my family is Swedish. The problem is that I need to finish the series because if am stubborn! How many of you force yourself to finish a series in this way, and which series were and why? I might have to confess that I watched one season of Love Island, which was the worst, but I had to see what happened in the end.
