He needs to do a lipid panel every year to check cholesterol and triglycerides.

It actually sounds quite healthy as long as it's not too many calories for his particular metabolism. If he is a healthy weight with good bloodwork, I would encourage him to keep eating this way. Maybe add some veggies to his scramble to get a little fiber?

This is actually a better breakfast that something like oatmeal or cereal.

The US food industry has brainwashed people from knowing what is up from down.

Sometimes a half a banana or a nectarine. Is this fine? It's been his breakfast routine for years, 5 to 7 mornings a week. Only time he doesn't eat this is when we're traveling, go out to eat on a weekend, or he lacks the time.

Is this fine? Only if he makes enough for all of us.

Dietary cholesterol is an insignificant contributor to serum cholesterol, which comes from the person’s own liver. Which is why “cutting cholesterol” usually does very little and statins work wonders.

I eat scrambled eggs every morning as long as I have time. I like to start off with protein.

I eat 3 soft boiled eggs every morning with tons of salt and pepper and a cup of strong coffee. I'm 5'4" 118lbs, female, low cholesterol, low HR, and low BP.

It seriously never occurred to me that anyone would analyze my diet negatively. If my husband did this, i might even be mildly offended. Maybe back off and let your adult husband eat his breakfast. If his health is a concern talk to him about his health, not his breakfast.

Exactly. Right down to the muffin.

Why are you concerned OP? If his bloodwork is good, don't worry about it. If it isn't then he could take out a couple of yolks.

If his cholesterol and LDL numbers are in range, it's fine.

Is he in good health? If yes, then this is fine.
