Furthermore, the listing says that they have put 125k in upgrades. I find that very hard to believe given that they bight it for 825k and only put down 73k or 8.8% (their loan amount is 752k).

What are the odds that someone who could not even afford to put 20% down on the place suddenly has 125k to put into upgrades and improvements...very low

It looks like the sale was an interfamily transfer. So probably part of an estate? It looks like they meant to live in it, but then changed their mind and halted the renovation partway through (hence the half finished garage addition and the doors to nowhere). Otherwise why not sell it as is with cosmetic upgrades. The upgrades don't seem like ones you would do to flip a house for sale.

The brick fireplace looked much better before they painted it white.

I'm thinking they are trying to sell the lot for over $1 million. And that is a ridiculous price for a very small lot on Greentree. This spring market is bonkers!

1.5 bathrooms. Deal breaker.

Not sure how they spent the 125k they say they spent...

Wow -- the house was already adorable and beautiful! They took away a lot of the charm, without really adding much. It's not like the house was in bad shape.

I thought it was the Bethesda house with the toilet sitting between the washer and dryer but I was mistaken.

Looks like it is a piece of furniture like a hutch. Too big for the space but presumably it doesn't convey since it isn't built in. That is either a very small dining room or a breakfast room. I am having trouble getting the flow of the house without a floor plan.

That is an unimpressive flip and frankly far too overpriced as well. Parts of it seem unfinished, like that French door leading to nowhere, or the white mess on the wood in the attic.

And also, it's way too small and like I said, very overpriced at $840 per square foot.

Something much nicer like this is half that price per square foot: https://redf.in/ltCIEw

Wow, that's what a million dollars gets you these days? I think it's too small for a four-person household.

Cute flip, but they should have at least added a bath in the renovation. 1.5 baths doesn't fit with today's families.

Also very strange that the garage loft has french doors to nowhere. Maybe it was supposed to be a juliet balcony? Or external stairs?
