When you find a house that you might want to purchase (Zillow, Redfin etc), type in that street address into the MCPS school locator.

Each school has a school profile (just search "MCPS" the school name with a file type of PDF). This contains the details about the school. Pay close attention to the statistics.
Something to keep in mind is that Boundary Studies could change your school designation, so monitor this website carefully for those discussions as they occur.
There is also a school safety report to consider that lists the incidents at each school.

Be careful and double-check the results using GreatSchools, Patch, etc. The reason is that someone has been tampering with official numbers (ex. Wootton is listed as 17% math proficiency but is actually 88% according to the Maryland State website).
