Probably won't play HS soccer but maybe, with such a big move trying to prioritize what she needs and loves first. Played ECNL in NorCal, Mustang 2010 ECNL, starts most game. Can anyone provide specfics on these three teams closest to our home geographically at the 2010 level Arlingon, Bethesda, and McLean or FVU I guess is the new name. Who is the coach, do they have a playing style, are they kind to new families? If my kid plays ECNL already is that good enought to compete on these teams? ECNL is pretty cuthroat throughout CA so I'm hoping this should be chiller, if not are there GA teams to consider?

Proximity wise these are the three clubs, we are pretty set on. But open to learning more. I don't know anything other than the standings about the three questions I asked: Who is the coach, do they have a playing style, are they kind to new families? If my kid plays ECNL already is that good enought to compete on these teams? Are there any GA teams i should be considering?

If your kid starts at Mustang ECNL and can play more than one position, then she is good enough to play on all the DMV teams. Be prepared for parents here to steer you away from their clubs to protect their DD’s roster spot. Talk to the coaches and watch their games instead.
Good enough to play, maybe. Good enough to take a spot away from another player? Not the case for Bethesda, at least. They are a more successful team than her current one.
