Look, religious folks are the ones who started the whole "god's children" language, so don't get chippy with me for taking it to its natural conclusion.

I'm mad at the infringement of my rights by some religious people. There are plenty of people of faith who understand that faith is an individual thing, and I have all the respect in the world for them.

Then there are others who advocate for the permeation of their personal religious beliefs onto others. I loathe these arrogant people.

Well she’s gained over 50 lbs, has no friends or hobbies, is unmarried and hasn’t had a boyfriend in 3 years. She exists in a constant state of anger and I am getting very sick of it.

She’s angry at the hypocrisy of “religious” people. Ninety percent of the time, they are twisting their religious books and teachings to justify their hatred, bigotry, xenophobia, acts of violence, etc. It’s just all a big excuse. This is a mental health issue and not really related to god or religion. I hope your sister gets the help she needs.

To answer your question, I don't believe in god and only get mad at religious people who try to convert me or legislate their beliefs into law.

My sister doesn’t believe in God but is very angry at the world for being a bad place. She constantly says God could stop the evil in the world but gets very angry and yells about people being hypocritical if I ask her how God can do anything if he doesn’t exist?

I am agnostic and love my sister very much but she has become extremely bitter and unpleasant to be around. She doesn’t ever enjoy her life. She is only focused on the negative aspects of life and trying to blame God. I asked her to see a therapist and she refuses. She has a couple friends who have the same attitude and they are just as angry and unhappy as she is. Wwyd? I am considering going low contact with her, because of her attitude and general attitude that sucks the life out of anyone who is around her. She’s lost all her friends but two. We are close in age and were in a large friend group. She dropped the entire friend group because she said they are superficial and all hypocrites. They were sad but after they heard she called them hypocrites (via facebook messenger, no coming back from that) they just moved on. They don’t believe I don’t feel the same way (I don’t!) so it’s affecting my life too.

She has stopped participating in things she previously enjoyed, which is why I asked her if she should see a therapist. She seems very depressed.
