Ann Mashburn may be right up your alley. I think highly of her clothes as well as her husband's half of the business that caters to men. Not cheap but very fairly prices for the quality you get.

OP here. I think maybe preppy is the wrong word. I'm mid 40's and a size 6. I don't want black and I'm not trying to look sexy, I'm trying to look tasteful and polished. Maybe conservative but still stylish. I'm not sure how to describe it - I'm obviously not big into fashion just don't want to look out of place at a nicer hotel (which we don't normally stay at.)

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I would get on Amazon and look at bathing suit cover ups. LP is so specific and to me dated. And I am not super young.
