I like them because they stay on.

I can't understand why any grown woman would wear high heels that wreck her posture and cause ankle, tendon and calf injuries, and leave her unable to walk distances in comfort.

What shoes don’t stay on!?

Slip ons.

There must be a reason why ballroom dancers and flamenco dancer wears shoes with straps and why marathon runners wear lace ups.

You were socialized to believe things that don’t make sense and it’s so wrapped around your brain you can’t think for yourself.

Amen. I’ve never owned heels and never will.

I have trouble finding good ones, but I have two different size feet and it's difficult to find a shoe I can wear with a dress that will stay on my smaller foot.

They've been trendy for a few years now, thanks to The Row. I find them cute but not my style -- too feminine.

Grown women wear what they want to wear.

I don’t currently own any, but have a foot condition that essentially limits me to shoes that lace or have a strap. So Mary janes are basically my only dressier option.

Thanks for judging.

Far more comfortable than clomping around in heels. I love my MJ style shoes.

Comfort. If they are suffering from arthritis or other back pain or hip pain, this could be the shoe with relief.
