I took Mounjaro last year using the coupon card that made it $25. You can get it refilled at the 22 day mark. If you waited until day 28, you would likely not remain on schedule. I have the CVS app so I can see the status. On day 22 or 23, the status changes to "Request Refill" and that's how you know it's eligible.

I filled my first one during htat time when all of the systems were down due to the hack. And shortly after filling, I had a text with a new card. Not sure if it's because I filled the first or because of the systems problem they were having.

(I assume once I have a new savings card in hand, I'm good to refill?)

Yeah, usually you just get one card. Lilly had problems with the cards because of a cyber attack on one of their vendors. So they reissued the cards. But the new one they sent you should work from now on.

Thanks. Do you know how long they will hold your prescription after filling it? Worried if I manage to find and fill it now but can’t pick it up for about 2-3 weeks if they’ll restock it and give it to someone else.

The discount card was applied to make it $550. They can do it automatically. If you don't wait to closer to 28 days you pay full price which is about $1100. I would go to the pharmacy that filled and ask what they suggest.

I just started Zepbound 2.5 mg. Insurance doesn’t cover it. I got a discount card but didn’t have to give the info to the pharmacist. It was still $550. Not quite clear how that worked. I’ll be moving up to 5mg next. Because of the shortage I’d like to try to fill it as soon as possible (I will be calling around to find somewhere that has it and letting my doctor know when I find it so she can call it in for me). I’m not clear if I need to wait 28 days to try to locate and fill it since the discount card says the discount is only once per month. I also don’t know if switching from 2 mg to 5 mg makes a difference here. How do others do this? Does anyone know when I can start the search and fill process?
