So glad to be in Arlington and to not have to worry about this.

Why don’t they have the coaches listed with the teams on the ncsl-rec schedule? They have them listed on travel and they use to list them on the sfl website.

Our coach also sent a long email expressing shock at the schedule and promising it would either be changed or we would forfeit and scrimmage another team on a home field instead.

Is anyone going to show up to play these teams?

^And agree, no way are we driving from McLean to Fredericksburg for rec soccer. That would take up the whole Saturday there and back.

Let me tell you I just clicked over to that schedule so fast to make sure we weren't going anywhere outlandish. Fredericksburg? No freaking way.

I don't understand why rec teams from Fredericksburg even want to play in this league.

$$$$$$. The SFL people made decisions that were in the best interests of the players. NCSL is trying to turn a profit. They will take anyone willing to pay them and they don't care if half the games are forfeits: they got paid. I'm surprised they don't have rec games out in West Virginia.

I would not drive to Fredericksburg for a rec game and we live in southern Alexandria.

I don't know why they would let Fredericksburg join the rec league. Its far outside a "suburban" league. No one expects to go that far for rec games and it will just cause tons of forfeits for the F-burg teams for home games.

Why is our rec team scheduled to drive to FREDERICKSBURG? I had three kids play in SFl over the years and there were never any teams allowed from Fredericksburg. Its way too far for a rec game and going that direction from Vienna on a Saturday with vacation traffic is a hot mess.
