Women when they date younger men somehow miraculously Believe that those younger men are more mature more willing to settle down than their bitter sometimes divorced older counterpart. Men are men. Even at 70 they will show signs of immaturity (from the woman's perspective)

Sorry to sound harsh, but this is how it almost always plays out. He will grow up a bit, realize he wants kids, and a woman pushing 40 isn’t it.

So absurd. There are plenty of older women younger men couples. That seems to really bother older men in general and women who settled with husbands they hate. Half the heartthrob men in Hollywood chose to marry older women

Its a tactic weak men use to get women (usually out of their league) to stick around. They insult/poke fun at the woman in the hopes of breaking down her self-esteem so as to make her insecure.

women want to be desired and men want to be needed....SO attacking a woman's self esteem is an attack on her ability to feel desirable. If she feels undesirable she wont "look elsewhere" and "stick with what she has"

back in the day when i dated men to "fit in" and they started that "insecure game" i would tell them i knew exactly what they were doing and it would always SHUT THEM DOWN

I hate to pile on and be depressing, but this would be my concern, OP, if you were my friend. If you want kids, now is the time, with him or someone else.
