I grew up with a desk and chair too. But I preferred my bed. Thank goodness my parents didn't pick that battle - probably would have stopped doing homework.

No homework on the bed. My kids always had a desk and chair to do their work. They've have added their gaming stuff but still enjoy using the space.

Yes. They can read in bed but homework on desk. Started this when they were in 2nd grade so it’s their habit now.

Is it getting done?

I talk with my ADHD kid about it being more difficult to concentrate in a place your brain associates with sleep, but that's because she's in fact not able to get work done lying in bed. If she was being productive I wouldn't care.

No. Not at all. Probably because I did all my middle and HS homework on my bed. As long as it's getting done, who cares?

Does anyone get annoyed when their kids do their homework on their bed-not at a desk or a table?
