I went to the center for innovative GYN care (Rockville) for fibroid removal and endo before getting pregnant. They have some unique method with easy recovery. Highly recommended.

OP, I had the same Receptiva score you did despite never having endometriosis symptoms that were severe enough to notice. I went for the IVF followed by 2 months of Depot Lupron and had success. If I had bothersome endo symptoms I would have gone for the lap instead. I didn’t find IVF to be too difficult.

OP, try to find an expert laparoscopy surgeon. I recommend Center for Endometriosis in Atlanta. For infertility patients, they will not only clean any Endo out but look through your entire system and flush out tubes etc. if Endo is your problem, you should be able to have success without IVF.

Echoing what the other poster said that Receptiva test is not diagnostic - you should follow up with an endo specialist if you can. It could help to do a laparoscopy to confirm diagnosis and try to clean out the endo (I have seen people have successful pregnancies after surgery - see the PP here!).

I do have 2 kids despite having stage 4 endo, but we did go straight to IVF rather than trying to conceive naturally. However, this was necessary for us since my husband also has some male factor infertility stemming from cancer treatment in his early 20s.

Yes! I had success with ivf for endometriosis. But my problem was conception, not sustaining a pregnancy.

Just keep in mind that the Receptiva test is not diagnostic -- you'd need a lap for that. The Receptiva test tests for markers that are indicative of inflammation that is commonly, but not always, associated with endo. The test gives a lot of false positives and also false negatives, and many REs (including mine) will not use it. I would definitely go to an endo specialist for further discussion. The endo surgeon I went to for a consult also did not use the Receptiva test. For what it's worth, IVF is such a slog, I'd also avoid it if you can (which you might be able to do if you get a lap rather than use Lupron Depot).

I'm so glad to hear that! I still need to do the HSG test to rule out fallopian blockage but if this comes back negative than they will confirm the endo. My score was a 3.6 on the receptiva for over expression of the BCL6. I haven't had a lap yet to determine the stage.

I just found out I have endometriosis via the receptiva test. Has anyone had any success with pregnancy following an endo diagnosis? I've had three miscarriages so far which led my doctors to finally testing for endo. I would love to avoid IVF if possible since we are able to get pregnant easily but unable to stay pregnant. So far my RE has recommended Lupron with IVF or surgery.
