Not sure about that. Great Britain lets you use a dial pen for Wegovy. But, you can get it through NHS. Besides that, most countries don’t have the GLP-1s. And the that do charge so much less than the US. I saw an article today that said US cost for GLP-1s is 10x the cost of the drugs in Western European countries where they are available.

Plus, the Ozempic dial a dose model isn’t a syringe and bottle. It’s still a pen. You can just adjust the dose.

If you buy the compounded version, it’s much easier to control the amount that you take.

Because it’s in a single dose pen. You can take it less often. But you can’t take 1/3 of the pen this week, and another 1/3 next week.

I pay for mounjaro out of pocket. Started at 2.5 for a month, increased to 5 for a month, and am on the fence about whether to increase to 7.5. But the monthly price is the same regardless of the dosage. Why not buy the higher dose and spread it out over more weeks?
