Why would you go all the way out west to ski with a kid who has never skied before? We've been working up to a trip out west by taking our kids to Deep Creek and Timberline. We won't go west until they are confident enough to ski blues and robust enough to ski for a few days in a row.

We are on cruise out of Florida to the eastern Caribbean and so far have been having fun. We strategically chose excursions at each stop to avoid crowds and so far it's been great. Beautiful weather.

This sucks. We considered Arizona but ultimately didn’t because I figured the weather had the potential to still be cold and yucky this time of year. Spring break was too early this year! Hard to find anywhere with warmth/sun in March.

Arizona-Grand Canyon and Sedona. We got snow and wind one day at Grand Canyon but then cleared up. Beautiful. Def worth it to stay in the Grand Canyon Village. Sedona-also beautiful. Staying in West Sedona vs uptown which is crowded. Hiking and Pink Jeep Tour is fun. Tasty food. Wished it had been warmer but still beautiful nature.

Costa Rica except it can be scorching depending on exact destination. It does have it all though.

We actually really enjoyed Miami last week as the curfews and crackdowns helped us have a much better time. We typically are not beach people all day but really loved the weather - just warm enough but not crazy hot. We did not rent a car and did surfing lessons and facials for DD and me. Otherwise S Beach stay close to beach and heated pool at hotel. Easy to find food and basically did nothing. Loved the food and R&R and people watched. Totally fine in terms of no crazy chaos or crowds.

In the past we enjoyed St Lucia Sugar Beach and QC. Keys are nice but no real beach. If your kids are young like under 9 Islamoralda is a great key with lots of nature and animals to see Chicago is still a bit chilly but as a wk long easy affordable getaway always works.

I personally try to escape to the sunny places in March though

We have gotten horrible weather in AZ. We’ve still enjoyed the hikes and the scenery but everything is muddy, wet and cold. The last 2 days should be great but overall it’s been very disappointing weather wise. It was warmer at home. We didn’t expect it to be hot, but still.

Well my in laws told us they were selling their cabin in junky East Tennessee this year, so we went there to see it one last time . Once there we were told they had actually changed their mind and also my husband’s uncle and aunt were there to stay as well!! Wheeee!! The 4 boomers were constantly cold so the house was at 74 degrees with a FIRE the whole time, almost no food since they don’t seem to eat at that age, and the uncle just yapped nonstop about nothing. Telling me all about his Facebook feed. Also the bed was uncomfortable. 0 stars, do not recommend.

Recommend: Keystone, CO for families who are newer to skiing. We went in February for winter spring break and it was a great experience. Kids 12 and under ski for free, and the town was quiet (with no hard core parties, no late night noise).

Don't Recommend: Florida in March at the moment. Especially Sarasota, Bradenton,Clearwater/Tampa, Orlando. Nonstop traffic, bad parking, long wait lines everywhere.
