He is so incredibly evil in Nightcrawler. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever hated a movie villain more.

It was horrible but did prompt me to rewatch the original. Such a classic. I about choked on my drink when the bad guy says a line meant to terrify “I used to f*ck guys like you in prison” like that was supposed to impress. Man I miss the 1980’s.

I find Gyllenhall so unattractive and I haven't liked him in a single role. Don't know how he still has a decent career.

Just tell me this - does he repeat the famous Swayze line “Pain don’t hurt” from the original movie?

I enjoyed it. Shrug.

I watched it too. It is truly terrible but in a kind of kitsch and forgivable way.

I couldn't even stomach the trailer. The original had charm and a great cast especially Patrick Swayze and Sam Elliot. I won't be wasting my time with this junk.

One of the single worst movies I've seen in many, many years. Gyllenhall continues to make really, reeeally bad movies. How has he not kneecapped his career yet?

And what's the deal with so many Amazon and Netflix movies? They don't cheap out on spending, yet so many of their movies are bottom of the barrel trash. The writing for Amazon and Netflix movies is often horrific. The pacing and dialogue of Road House was cringe inducing.

This movie was so bad I had to turn it off every 30-40 minutes and had to come back to it over multiple sessions just to finish it. Barf.
