Bleach surfaces and let it sit for 30 minutes. Regular disinfectants don’t work on norovirus. You can also buy a spray (Microban) and spray and leave wet. Good luck!

We had it and it lasted 4 miserable days. Same with my sister and mom, who live locally. Hope your teen feels better soon.

Wash hands really well and try to use a separate bathroom. Otherwise, not much you can do. It’s miserable but usually short.

It’s never not “going around”.

I don’t think you have to mask for norovirus.

If you get it, you get it. You’ll just puke for a few days and then recover. There’s little you can do about it.

According to our family doctor, it is going around and our older teen ds has it along with strep. He has had terrible symptoms for going on 48hrs and is unable to eat or drink. The nausea meds aren’t helping much and we are hoping the antibiotics are being absorbed for the strep. Anyone have tips or advice on how to ride it out?
Also we are masked and sanitizing but afraid we may have been exposed before him symptoms kicked it.
