+1. I'm an introvert and middle-aged (so brought up to not do the asking), and I would never make the first move. I wish I could. I really do.

This. I think attractive women know what signals to send that will lead a man to ask her out: smiling, eye contact, and the big one -- touching his forearm. if she is *really* going for it she can give him a compliment.

I think with attractive women, men are a little afraid and need to know that they won't be rejected, so the signals help.

In my experience, very pretty women do not do the asking. They also don't get asked out as much because guys are intimidated.

I asked my husband out first. I was a pretty sweet piece. He was shy but I could tell he was into me. Said yes immediately and then HE planned a wonderful first date.

Yeah, attractive men don’t have to pursue because they have tons of women chasing them.

Men are afraid of being called “creepy” these days. If women want men to approach them first, they need to send clear signals to men (smile, look at them, friendly..), not subtle hints that men can not pick up. Don’t ask men out first but do everything else.

My mom always advised that a man will chase if he really likes you. I’ve found that to be true. The ones I chased never ended well.

Wondering if you're a very attractive woman do you pursue guys, ask them out, text first, call first, etc? A male friend whose attractive told me he hasn't pursued but wondering if that's common? Personally, as an attractive millennial I've never asked a man out on a date.
