Don’t ever put money down on a lease beyond making your first monthly payment and paying for any required upfront fees or taxes.

I won't lease a Tesla because you cannot buy it at the end of the lease. Other brands offer significant discounts for leasing and then buying at the end of the lease, since tax breaks are built into the lease.

They’re running a great lease deal - 3k down + taxes and $329/month.
