The Iron Rooster in College Park has great brunch. Pennyroyal Station in Mount Rainier too

Busboy and Poets in Hyattsville, IHOP in New Carrollton, or Bob Evans is right off US 50 in Bowie

Rip's is an old school family restaurant and would be great for breakfast or coffee.
If you are going for a weekend, you can check out Station 202 which just opened in Cheverly. It is only open for breakfast on the weekends though.
Lots of people swear by Milk and Honey in Bowie and Woodmore but I've never been.

Not strictly halfway as it is a small detour from the main route, but Hyattsville would be my pick for location - there are a few restaurant options that could work. Franklins, Shagga, Busboys

Depends on the time of day. If during rush hour, could easily take you each an hour to meet 1/2 way which is the same amount of time it takes to get to each other’s cities

I'm in DC, and I'd think Zeke's Coffee or Emma's Torch on Rhode Island Ave NE for breakfast or coffee or Pennyroyal Station in Mt. Rainier for weekend brunch could work.

I’m in Annapolis and I have a friend in Arlington. We want to meet “halfway” for breakfast or coffee, but I don’t know any good spots that are “halfway.” Any thoughts?
