Anonymous wrote:We've been in this range for the last 5 years. We have played catch-up from not saving for years when we had huge medical bills and job loss. Such a relief now to mostly have private college paid for and in much better shape for retirement. But I'm still in heavy budget mode from those years of uncertainty. Haven't let up from work and are saving everything we can. IF we finally reach our retirement goals, we will probably just keep pushing on. My next financial goal will be to help our kids out with a downpayment to buy their first tiny studio apartment. The news makes it seem like an impossible goal for younger people so if we can help, we will.
