Took many hours to slow-cook a nice beef stew with root vegetables and celery.

Yum.

For you, I'd make some tartines with topping of your choice (ham and cheese? with baby spinach?). Pop under the broil to melt the cheese.

Boneless chicken breasts straight out of the freezer, cooked with 1 small box of chicken bone broth, 1 can of chicken and rice soup (water added), 3/4 short grain brown rice. Cook until chicken and rice is done, then add bag of mixed vegetables to the pot. Season it needed. Add side salad and slices of bread toasted and buttered. Beyond easy.

(This is with 2 regular sized breasts.)

Your DH's head on a plate?

We're having pizza with leftover dough and toppings from the weekend, but if you don't have the dough thats not helpful. Chana masala if you have canned chickpeas and tomatoes?

Breakfast for dinner is also one of our go tos when we don't want to cook. Egg sandwiches on croissants usually. With whatever fruit we have. If there's no fruit, I have frozen fruit and can make a yogurt smoothie with it for the kids.

DH ate half the leftovers I was planning to serve. So what should I throw together with basic ingredients? Something easy like pasta or a tuna melt...but I've had both of those this week already.
