Strange. Different regions must have different supply chains. I picked some up in Montgomery County without a problem (waited one day).

When was this?

Today I picked up second dose of Zepbound at CVS in Bethesda. Two day wait while they ordered.

At least if you;re in the system at the big places they can fill the order more easily.

I haven't found a better way of determining if my dosage is in stock other than calling, with is a massive pain.

There has to be a way that money can fix this, right??

I've been on Zepbound for three months. CVS has to order it every time but the longest I've waited is three days. I think they don't keep it in the store but get it for you quickly.

Wegovy seems to be permanently out of stock. A family member got one month's worth and then waited months for it to be available again so they switched to Zepbound and supply has not been a problem.

If you go to one cvs, they can look and see which stores have it in the area.

I have had a very different experience. I have had two months worth in 6 months…

CVS has been able to get it for me. You might have to wait, but they are always able to order it.

My experience is from last summer/fall getting low doses of Wegovy, things may have changed.

I called and said that I have a prescription for Wegovy and would like to transfer it there if they have it in stock. Some immediately say they don't have it, some ask what dosage and look it up. I've had better luck with grocery store pharmacies for some reason, and had to make a LOT of calls. GL

I have been able to get Wegovy from Costco.

I'm confused about how to figure out which pharmacies have these hard-to-find drugs in stock.

I called a couple to find out if they had Wegovy and they all (as expected) said no. So my doc prescribed Zepbound, which is generally easier to find. I had to phone the pharmacy after the prescription was sent in to give information about the savings card. At the end of the call, they said, "I'll have to contact my supplier. If they have it in stock, this will be ready tomorrow.").

So that would seem to mean that when I phone a pharmacy to see if they have something 'in stock,' that's the wrong question. (The question is whether they can order it from a supplier who has it in stock?)

I'm not sure if this is a one-off (they just sold their last box and it's time to reorder) or if I somehow need to find out whether the supplier (whoever that is) has something in stock. (If so, I might keep trying for Wegovy with some new approach to finding it!)

Thoughts?
